This piece is entitled: Trauma
It is symbolic of living through a traumatic experience in which we feel stripped, naked and vulnerable; battered, bruised and blindfolded. The landscape is an incomprehensible yet terrifying darkness that seems as silent as death yet manically noisy. In that darkness and isolation, we feel exposed and scrutinised.
I am a survivor of trauma. I hope this helps some to process, others to relate and still others to perhaps gain a little understanding.
